Everyone loves pizza, right?
PizzaGram, the new way to send a pizza to someone, delivers in North Branford, Connecticut.
“Slice Pizza” owner Chris Healy received his first PizzaGram order and delivered his first pizza through the PizzaGram network this weekend.
PizzaGram is a growing network of independently owned local pizza places that is growing in Connecticut and around the country.
The idea is to build a network that will allow parents to send a pizza to their kids who may be away at college, or grandma to purchase a PizzaGram for her grandson who just won a sports event.
The network will allow people to purchase a PizzaGram from their computer or smart phone.
Users can visit www.ItsAllAboutPizza.com, visit the vendors website or Facebook page to purchase the PizzaGram and send it via email to the recipient. The recipient of the PizzaGram can visit the local pizza place and redeem the PizzaGram like a gift card. They can bring in their smart phone or a printed out copy of the email.
The system is win/win! PizzaGram allows the local pizza place to compete with some of the bigger chains by increasing sales from their website, and it is a fun way for people to send a pizza to someone they love from across the country.
